YesGeisinger is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Employee Health team in Danville, PA and flexibility to cover some hours in Pittston as needed. This role supports the health and well-being of our colleagues by providing high-quality occupational and employee health services in a collaborative, highly engaged clinical environment.

Job Duties:

Position details:

  • Weekday schedule, Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
  • No call responsibilities
  • Outpatient Employee Health clinic setting similar to urgent care
  • Care includes sick visits, work-related injuries and exposures, and regulatory physicals (e.g., Department of Transportation)
  • Average patient volume is approximately 4 patients per day, with busier days reaching 8–9 patients plus exposure evaluations
  • Patients are managed independently by APPs, who are supported by the Medical Director, with referral to specialists as needed

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

Required:

  • Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
  • Active or eligible Pennsylvania license
  • Several years of clinical experience required; new graduates will not be considered

Preferred:

  • Experience in Emergency Medicine, ambulatory clinic, or similar outpatient settings
  • Interest in Employee Health or Occupational Medicine (prior occupational health experience is not required)
