The Center for Community Health, opened in early 2021 in the heart of Park Slope at our NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital.

Recognized by the American College of Surgeons as a Commission on Cancer (CoC) accredited cancer program, patients at the CCH’s Cancer Center have access to a full range of outpatient cancer services including the latest anti-cancer drugs, targeted therapies, immunotherapies, minimally invasive outpatient surgical procedures, and support and educational resources.

We are seeking an experienced Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) with oncology experience and pediatric experience (or a strong comfort level caring for pediatric patients) to provide patient-centered care across our Same-Day Access and Infusion Center. This role supports the full spectrum of infusion services, including both benign and oncology patients in adult and pediatric populations, and involves acute symptom management, assessment and treatment of therapy-related complications, care coordination, and close collaboration with a multidisciplinary care team.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing a diverse patient population receiving a wide range of infusion therapies and will work closely with physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and other clinical team members to ensure high-quality, timely care. Prior experience with CAR-T therapy is preferred but not required.

As a Nurse Practitioner, you will support the Cancer Service Line by partnering with clinical teams and providing education to oncology multidisciplinary services. This is a full time day shift position working 4-5 days per week. This position is located at the Center for Community Health at NYP/Brooklyn Methodist Hospital.

Preferred Criteria

  • Previous experience as Nurse Practitioner in oncology

Required Criteria

  • Nurse Practitioner Master’s Program
  • At least 1 year of experience as Nurse Practitioner required
  • Current NYS Registered Nurse license
  • Current NYS Nurse Practitioner license
  • Board Certification with the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC)
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
