OtherMinnesota Perinatal Physicians is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join a highly specialized, collaborative Maternal‑Fetal Medicine practice. This role offers the opportunity to care for high‑risk obstetric patients within a supportive, physician‑led team, using advanced technology and evidence‑based protocols. The NP will partner closely with MFM physicians and interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive prenatal care, patient education, and care coordination across the continuum. Key Position Details:

Minnesota Perinatal Physicians delivers highly specialized, maternal‑fetal care in a technologically advanced, team‑based setting. The practice provides 24/7 consultative support, laborist coverage, and comprehensive management of high‑risk pregnancies, supported by advanced imaging technology including targeted ultrasound, 3D ultrasound, fetal echocardiography, MRI, and CT. Services also include genetic counseling and testing, antepartum testing, preconception consults, and expertise in complex conditions such as morbidly adherent placenta. Nurse care coordinators and obstetrical home health programs further enhance coordinated, patient‑centered care across the continuum.

Provide advanced clinical care for high-risk maternal-fetal patients, supporting diagnosis, treatment, and consultative services in collaboration with MFM physicians. Practice across both inpatient and outpatient settings, functioning independently and as part of a multidisciplinary care team.


Principle Responsibilities

    • Deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care for high-risk obstetric populations, including assessments and management of complex maternal and fetal conditions
    • Partner closely with MFM physicians to coordinate care plans; order and interpret diagnostics (e.g., fetal monitoring, ultrasound, labs) and prescribe evidence-based treatments
    • Provide expert patient education on high-risk pregnancy including diabetes consults with ongoing glucose management.
    • Manage Nurse Practitioner run clinic while partnering with reading MFM for sharing image results

    • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including OB/GYN, neonatology, genetics, and hospital staff to ensure seamless, coordinated care across the continuum
    • Serve as a clinical resource to care teams and contribute to program development initiatives aimed at improving quality, safety, and patient experience in high-risk perinatal care
    • 75 fte - 3-10hour shifts starting at 7am.
    • Rotating holiday coverage and weekend coverage 1:8.
    • Ability to rotate to multiple clinic locations


Required Qualifications

  • Master's degree - Completion of accredited Nurse Practitioner program


Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years' experience as Nurse Practitioner in women's health/OBGYN.
  • Experience reading electronic fetal monitoring (EFM), contraception management, antepartum/triage or labor & delivery.


Licenses/Certifications

  • Licensed Registered Nurse - MN Board of Nursing required upon hire

  • Certified Nurse Practitioner - MN Board of Nursing or Certified Nurse Midwife - MN Board of Nursing required upon hire

  • Certified Nurse Practitioner - American Nurse Credentialing Center (ANCC) certification or Certified Nurse Midwife - American Midwifery Certification Board (AMCB) certification within specialty required upon hire

  • Must meet at least ONE of the requirements below:
    ◦ Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
    ◦ Current BLS certification from the American Red Cross
    ◦ Allina in-house BLS training (within 30 days of hire)

  • Drug Enforcement Administration required upon hire

  • Valid Driver’s License required upon hire - MN and WI residents must obtain a valid driver’s license in their state of residence within 60 days of employment for those working in Complex Care for Seniors, Community Palliative Care and Hospice

Pay Range

Pay Range: $56.48 to $78.15 per hourThe pay described reflects the base hiring pay range. Your starting rate would depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, your experience, education, and the union agreement (if applicable). Shift, weekend and/or other differentials may be available to increase your pay rate for certain shifts or work.
