CPMC-California Pacific Med Center Van NessUnder the supervision of the intensivist, this position supports the Critical Care Service Line. Principal responsibilities include assessing and managing the medical care of patients in collaboration with the physician. The incumbent will also communicate with other nursing staff and referring physician to ensure the continuity and coordination of care. Adheres to hospital polices, industry standards, best practices, and applicable laws/regulations and codes to promote a quality, highly reliable patient experience. Engages in continuous growth and development in professional advanced nursing practice. Follows ambulatory care and inpatient standardized procedures, protocols, policy and procedures regulated by the State of California Nurse Practice Act.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AS TYPICALLY ACQUIRED IN:
Minimum of five (5) years of RN experience in Critical Care or Emergency Nursing.
Critical Care experience.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
Excellent organizational, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
Ability to handle multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work with individuals of diverse background and experience to create an effective working climate

Pay Range is $170,595.36 to $241,600.32 / annual salary
The compensation range may vary based on the geographic location where the position is filled. Total compensation considers multiple factors, including, but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure, certifications, departmental equity, training, and organizational needs.
