We are seeking a highly motivated Nurse Practitioner to join our Gastroenterology consult service. This is a fast-paced, high-acuity role focused on managing a broad spectrum of GI conditions while working closely with a collaborative team of gastroenterologists.
This position offers a strong balance of clinical autonomy, procedural coordination, and productivity-based performance, making it ideal for candidates who thrive in both a hospital and outpatient clinic environment.

MSN required. Successful completion of an approved nurse practitioner program and current NC License.
Minimum of three years of professional nursing experience in a clinic setting plus two years of nurse practitioner experience preferred. Inpatient or acute care experience strongly preferred.
Maintains valid NP and RN license for state of North Carolina.
Inpatient hospital setting and outpatient clinic setting. Frequent exposure to communicable diseases, toxic substances, ionizing radiation, medicinal preparations and other conditions common to a hospital environment.
Requires standing and walking for extensive periods of time. Occasionally lifts and carries items weighing up to 50 pounds. Requires working under stress in emergencies and irregular hours.
