Resurrection Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our growing Gastroenterology (GI) team. This full-time inpatient-only role offers the opportunity to work closely with board-certified gastroenterologists, delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals with a wide range of digestive health conditions.

Position Details & Qualifications:

• Full-time, Monday-Friday schedule (9:00 AM 5:00 PM)

• Inpatient-only role within a collaborative GI team

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and review medical histories

• Manage chronic GI conditions such as GERD, IBD, IBS, and liver disease

• Provide pre- and post-procedural counseling and medication management

• Accurately document patient encounters using EMR

• Facility located in a diverse community with access to major highways

• Licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Illinois

• Board-certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), Adult-Gerontology NP, or Physician Assistant

• Minimum 12 years of experience in Gastroenterology or Internal Medicine preferred

• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and patient education skills

• Team-oriented with a commitment to evidence-based care

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $125,000.00 to $140,000.00 on an annualized basis. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
