We are also part of AdventHealth, a unified health system with over 50 hospital campuses and hundreds of care sites in diverse markets throughout 9 states.

Responsibilities

UChicago Medicine AdventHealth has an exciting APN opportunity in our Family Medicine clinic our in Hinsdale. This role will be part clinical and part administrative.

· 1-3 years of experience, preferred

· Must be able to work independently and in collaboration with attending Physician

· Must have experience in full spectrum Family Medicine

· APN will see acute patients only for clinic; approximately 8 patients per day

Schedule: 5 days per week and rotating Saturdays

· Administrative work to include: triage EMR inboxes, refill medications, review labs and controlled substances, etc.

· Coverage for physicians on PTO, medical leave, etc.

· EPIC Inbox management for assigned Physicians

· Annual Salary: $115K - $125K

Qualifications

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

· Master's degree in Nursing

LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION REQUIRED:

· BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Credentials are verified by local staff credentialing office.

· ACLS Certification, required

· Nurse Practitioner credentialed from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Credentials are verified by local staff credentialing office

· Drug Enforcement Admin credentialed from the Drug Enforcement Administration.
