Eliot is seeking a Nurse Practitioner Director to join our Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CBHC) team and provide direct clinical care in addition to strong leadership on our CBHC Child Teams in Lynn. Eliot’s CBHC program serves as a single entry point for mental health and substance use services for youth, families and adults. The ideal candidate is a clinically strong and collaborative psychiatric nurse practitioner leader who is experienced in acute behavioral health settings and comfortable guiding multidisciplinary teams. They demonstrate a commitment to person-centered care, strong clinical judgment, and the ability to support staff while ensuring high-quality services for clients and families.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the psychiatric services within the Team based environment serving individuals and/or families within CBHC Teams, Urgent Care, YCCS, or CCS services.
  • Lead psychiatric services within the CBHC services element including collaborating with program leadership on the management of clinical functions of the services delivered to clients.
  • Ensure that the client/family is at the center of all care and that all interventions are developed and provided in a manner consistent with Person preferences.
  • Provide leadership, support and clinical guidance to all staff supervised in accordance with CBHC policies and procedures.
  • Provide clinical guidance and leadership to supervisees and other staff members within CBHC Teams, Urgent Care, YCCS, or CCS services.
  • Provide clinical direction and clinical interventions to support the treatment planning process.
  • Assist staff members in developing and practicing self-management skills, coping skills and clinically based skill development with clients in each program/service.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Nursing (MSN) and a Licensure from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Board of Registration in Nursing to practice as a licensed Nurse Practitioner; and is registered to practice as a Nurse Practitioner from the American Nurses Credentialing Center
  • Experience working in acute psychiatric environments
  • Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and treatment planning skills
  • Strong background in providing clinical leadership, oversight, and supervision to clinical teams

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm


Annual Salary $165,000$175,000 USD
