Care provided by the nurse practitioner focuses on health promotion, risk identification and reduction, health maintenance and the management of both acute and chronic conditions. Using standards of practice acceptable for the adult population, the nurse practitioner provides assessment, diagnosis, education, treatment and management of therapeutic regimens for patients who are self referred or referred by other clinicians.<br><br>

Physical Nature of the Job:
Light work: Exerting up to 20 pounds of force frequently to move objects. Some elements of the job are sedentary, but the employee will be required to stand for periods of time or move through out the hospital campus
