Nurse Manager (RN) - Center for Rehabilitation

FT Day Shift (8, 9, or 10-hour Shift Option)

Wilmington, DE

ChristianaCare's Center for Rehabilitation at Wilmington Hospital is looking for an experienced Nurse Manager (RN) to take on 24-hour accountability and responsibility for ensuring excellence in nursing practices and patient care delivery within the Center for Rehabilitation. This unit is recognized as an ANCC Magnet® designated practice area within ChristianaCare Health Services.

The Center for Rehabilitation is a 36-bed unit dedicated to helping patients regain their independence and activity levels, putting them on the path to better health. We are an accredited Comprehensive Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility, with specialized accreditation in stroke, brain injury, and limb loss from the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF).

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • DE RN License or Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC)
  • BSN Required.
  • Master of Science in Nursing from an accredited school preferred or commitment to obtain within 3 years of hire date.
  • Five years of appropriate clinical and leadership experience.
  • Experience in Rehab preferred.
  • Nursing Professional certification in a related nursing specialty is required.
  • Nurse Executive certification preferred.

DIRECTION/SUPERVISION OF OTHERS:

  • Supervises all levels of personnel on unit position control.

DIRECTION/SUPERVISION RECEIVED:

  • Chief Nurse Officer/Director/Vice President, Patient Care Services

Annual Compensation Range $121,180.80 - $193,897.60This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCare’s good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including without limitation skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
