The Office of Clinical Nursing Practice and Innovation is responsible for advancing nursing excellence through quality improvement, evidence-based practice, patient safety, innovation, accreditation readiness, and professional practice development to achieve outstanding patient outcomes and support organizational strategic goals.

Responsibilities:

You will be responsible to ensure high standards of patient care and safety across nursing services, provide leadership for quality, safety, and risk management initiatives, ensure compliance with accreditation standards, promote a culture of continuous improvement, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, oversees quality and safety data analysis and reporting, participate in key committees, and foster staff engagement and innovation to enhance patient outcomes and care excellence.

You will be responsible to:

  • assess nursing clinical practices regularly to ensure compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and organizational standards
  • lead and monitor nursing quality assurance and patient safety programs to promote safe, effective, patient-centered care and continuous quality improvement.
  • evaluate nursing outcomes and quality improvement initiatives, and facilitate the integration of evidence-based practice, clinical guidelines, and best practices into care delivery
  • analyze nursing-sensitive indicators and patient care data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement; conduct audits, assessments, and practice reviews, and communicate findings to nursing leadership
  • lead investigations of patient safety events, near misses, and clinical risks, and implement corrective and preventive actions to strengthen patient safety
  • ensure compliance with nursing policies, standards, procedures, and documentation requirements, while serving as a resource to nurse managers and clinical teams
  • identify, evaluate, and implement innovative nursing practices, technologies, and care delivery models, and support nursing quality improvement and research initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.

Requirements:

You should have:

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) degree from a recognized institution, preferably Master’s in Nursing (MScN) or equivalent along with current registration with the Pakistan Nursing & Midwifery Council
  • at least ten years of progressive nursing career preferably in an acute care setting, of which at least five years of leadership or management experience in nursing quality, professional practice, patient safety, clinical excellence, or nursing innovation
  • demonstrated experience in leading quality improvement, evidence-based practice, research, or change management initiatives.
  • experience with accreditation and regulatory standards
  • expertise in evidence-based practice, clinical governance, and performance improvement
  • adept in analyzing, interpreting, and presenting nursing quality and patient safety data
  • strong leadership, project management, and change management skills
  • ability to lead interdisciplinary teams and influence nursing practice changes across Nursing Services
  • proficiency in quality management systems, data analytics, and Microsoft Office applications
  • willingness to work in shifts and travel nationally and internationally on need-basis.
