Nurse Manager – NICU RN (Night Shift)

Location:

Houston, TX

Schedule:

Full-Time
11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Weekend and on-call rotation required

Compensation:

  • Hourly Rate: $40.00 – $58.00 (based on experience)

  • Sign-On Bonus: Available on a case-by-case basis

  • Relocation Assistance: Available on a case-by-case basis

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Nurse Manager – NICU RN to lead our neonatal intensive care team during the night shift. This leadership role is ideal for a clinically skilled NICU nurse with strong team management abilities and a passion for delivering the highest standards of neonatal care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Director to oversee NICU operations

  • Lead, mentor, and support a dedicated team of NICU nurses

  • Provide bedside clinical support and enforce nursing care standards

  • Evaluate patient outcomes and manage care delivery plans

  • Monitor department performance and quality improvement participation

  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies, regulatory requirements, and safety standards

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of recent acute care NICU leadership experience (Charge Nurse or Manager level)

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required

  • Active RN license in Texas or Compact license with Texas endorsement within 60 days

  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
