
Nurse Manager – NICU (Night Shift)
Pay Range: $40.00 – $58.00/hr (based on years of experience)
Schedule: Full-time, 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM (includes weekends/on-call rotation)

A leading healthcare system is seeking an experienced Nurse Manager – NICU to lead a highly specialized neonatal team. This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a high-volume Level IV NICU that provides advanced care to premature and critically ill newborns.
Oversee daily operations of the NICU during night shifts, ensuring safe, effective, and efficient care
Provide hands-on clinical leadership and serve as a mentor and role model to staff
Support departmental performance improvement and quality initiatives
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to promote family-centered care
Manage staffing, scheduling, and clinical competencies of NICU personnel
Uphold standards of regulatory compliance, patient safety, and service excellence
Minimum 2 years of recent NICU leadership experience in an acute care setting (Manager or Charge Nurse level)
BSN required
Active RN license in Texas or Compact (must convert to TX license within 60 days of hire if Compact)
Current AHA BLS certification required
Strong critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills
Experience in a high-acuity neonatal environment preferred
