We are seeking an experienced Nurse Manager to lead a high-acuity ICU Trauma Neuro unit within a busy tertiary acute care environment. This leadership role oversees both a Neuro Trauma ICU and a Central Telemetry Unit, supporting advanced neurological, trauma, and critical care services.
This position is ideal for a clinically strong ICU leader who thrives in high-census environments and is passionate about quality outcomes, staff engagement, and operational excellence.
Provide day-to-day leadership and operational oversight for ICU Trauma Neuro and Central Telemetry units
Ensure high-quality, patient-centered care aligned with evidence-based nursing practice
Maintain compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and safety standards
Manage staffing, scheduling, productivity, and unit-based budgets
Lead initiatives focused on quality improvement, patient safety, and throughput efficiency
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize clinical outcomes
Coach, mentor, and develop nursing staff to support engagement and retention
Monitor performance metrics, patient experience scores, and clinical benchmarks
Support admissions, discharges, and patient flow in a high-volume environment
Active Florida RN license
1+ year of recent acute care leadership experience (ICU, MICU, SICU, CVICU)
Strong background in critical care nursing
BLS (within 30 days of hire)
ACLS (within 6 months of hire)
TNCC (within 6 months of hire)
Neuro ICU or Trauma ICU leadership experience
Experience managing multi-unit operations
Strong operational, financial, and staff development skills
