Job Description

Responsibilities:
  • Provides on-going guidance to nurses.
  • Reviews active participants clinical records in accordance with Federal, State, and other regulatory agency requirements.
  • Reviews charts in order to maintain optimum level care.
  • Identifies quality improvement opportunities and assets in resolving those participant care issues that have been repeated or patterned.
  • Maintains current knowledge of New York States Department of Health CMS PACE regulations including program discipline when needed.
  • Conducts audits of participant clinical records on an ongoing basis to ensure compliance with agency policiesand PACE regulations. Collect all audit findings and make sure that corrections are completed.
  • Review all enrollment packets before submission for HRA approval.
  • Review all initial nursing assessments.
 
Qualifications:
  • Current NY State Registered Nurse License
  • 3-5 years of experience as a RN manager/supervisor
Education:
  • Associate Degree
  • BSN Preferred
