Are you an LPN looking for a nursing role where you can make a meaningful difference without the physical demands of traditional inpatient nursing?

At Pyramid Healthcare – New River Valley Inpatient, you’ll provide hands-on nursing care to individuals receiving treatment for substance use disorders and behavioral health concerns while working alongside an experienced interdisciplinary team.

📍 Radford, VA – 6226 University Park Drive

🌙 Schedule: 7:00 PM–7:00 AM

💰 Pay: $24–$29/hour

What You'll Do

As an LPN, you will:

• Provide direct nursing care and clinical support in accordance with physician orders, nursing standards, and organizational policies.
• Complete nursing assessments, screenings, observations, admissions, and clinical documentation.
• Administer medications and monitor effectiveness, client response, and potential side effects.
• Monitor and support withdrawal management, including CIWA, COWS, and other clinical assessment tools as appropriate.
• Provide medication and health education to clients and families.
• Support physicians, nurse practitioners, and other medical providers with assessments, medication management, and treatment planning.
• Monitor changes in client condition and communicate significant clinical findings to the treatment team.
• Maintain medications, medical equipment, and clinical supplies according to regulatory and organizational standards.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to promote continuity of care and successful treatment outcomes.
• Maintain confidentiality and complete required training and documentation.

What We're Looking For

• Current, active LPN license in Virginia
• Compassionate, dependable, and clinically minded nursing professional
• Interest or experience in behavioral health, substance use disorder treatment, withdrawal management, or addiction recovery is a plus.
• New graduates and nurses transitioning into behavioral health are encouraged to explore this opportunity.
