Job Shift: Indirect CareThe Nurse Educator is responsible for developing and providing professional education for nursing staff and patients/caregivers, so that they will acquire the knowledge and skills to competently provide high quality patient care. Creation and maintenance of training content, so that it aligns with best practice standards and the growing needs of our patient populations. Assists Nurse Education Manager with yearly staff competencies, meeting accreditation standards, and additional tasks that pertain to Nursing Education.

- - - Coordinate and oversee onboarding and orientation for all newly hired nursing staff on day and night shifts by developing individualized training plans, scheduling clinical experiences, assigning preceptors, and monitoring orientation progress to ensure competency and successful transition to practice.
