We are seeking to hire a Nurse Educator for our Clinical Education team! This position will be located at our Regional Medical Center off I-184 and Curtis Rd.

Schedule: Part Time - Set Schedule - No weekends, no holidays

About the position This is a bedside position, mentoring new grad nurses and will be a shared position with another part time preceptor. The position will precept up to 2 new graduate nurses at one time focusing on documentation, assessments and critical thinking.

Experience Requirement:

  • Three years of direct patient care experience in the role of a registered nurse required.

  • Experience in nursing education desirable.

License/Certification Requirement:

  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Idaho at time of start date

  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Oregon within six months of start date

  • Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers certification from either AHA, ARC or the Military Training Network is required at hire in all units, unless currently certified in ACLS and/or PALS as defined in the SAHS Certification Crosswalk.

  • Other certifications may be required as identified in the SAHS Certification Crosswalk.

  • BLS, ACLS, PALS provider/instructor status desirable.

  • Certification in a clinical area or in Staff Development desirable.
