Nursing Education, and while demonstrating a commitment to the Mission, Values and Management Philosophy of St. Boniface Hospital, the Continuing Education Instructor is responsible for: acting as a clinical educational resource for nursing unit personnel; facilitating the learning process and evaluating learning outcome; planning, coordinating, and in conjunction with the Nursing Director, evaluating unit specific orientation programs; participating in educational activities within the specific Department, the Patient Care Portfolio, and throughout the Hospital; and performing other related duties as required/assigned.

Experience

  • Minimum two (2) years recent Surgical nursing experience required.
  • Demonstrated ability in communicating with and teaching adults required.

Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate)

  • Baccalaureate degree in Nursing required.

Certification/Licensure/Registration

  • Current CRNM registration required.

NOTE: Successful completion of the BLS Instructor Certificate will be obtained at a time scheduled by the employer or at a time mutually agreed upon between the nurse and the employer required.
