Holy Cross Germantown Hospital, a member of Trinity Health, is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse Coordinator to provide clinical and operational leadership for the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). The Registered Nurse Supervisor works collaboratively with the Department Director to coordinate patient care, oversee staff, and ensure safe, high-quality, and cost-effective critical care services.

This role requires strong clinical expertise, leadership judgment, and a commitment to Trinity Health’s mission of compassionate, patient-centered care.

What you will Do:

  • Employment type/Shift Full-time; 36-hour Nights

  • Manages daily operations and patient flow

  • Provide direct supervision and support to professional and non-professional staff

  • Assign and coordinate staff based on patient acuity and unit needs

  • Promote compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and patient safety standards

  • Support quality improvement, patient safety, and service excellence initiatives

  • Participate in staff orientation, education, coaching, and performance management

  • Act as a clinical role model, mentor, and resource for ICU staff

Required Qualifications

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Maryland or compact state eligibility

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing required

  • Minimum five (5) years of recent Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse experience

  • Demonstrated leadership, critical thinking, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master of Science in Nursing preferred

  • Critical Care certification (CCRN)

  • Previous experience in nursing supervision or unit-based leadership

  • Knowledge of quality improvement and patient safety standards

  • Previous Charge Nurse experience

Pay rate: $39.47 – $61.20

Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location
