T his position is located at Eisenhower Army Medical Center, Fort Gordon, Georgia.

Nurse (Clinical/Emergency Department)

Work hour shifts range from 8 to 12 hours shifts and may range from 0700-1900, 1100-2300.This is a Direct Hire Solicitation

Salary Range: $93,782 to - $121,919 per year

Ft. Eisenhower is adjacent to Augusta, GA famous for its major attraction, The Masters Golf Tournament. Ft. Eisenhower has a moderate year-round climate and offers close proximity to metropolitan areas, beaches along the Atlantic Ocean and the Appalachian Mountains.

Responsibilities

As a Nurse (Clinical/Emergency) you will:

  • Interview and takes medical histories, to acquire medically necessary information to assess physical and mental status of patient.
  • Perform triage, while considering both physical and psychosocial elements.
  • Observe, monitor, and assess patient's condition.
  • Teach, onboard, and mentor professional and paraprofessional nursing staff.
  • Function as a charge nurse on a rotational basis.
  • Conduct and participate in the development, implementation, coordination, and evaluation of facility, departmental, or unit-based programs.
  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients presenting for urgent or emergent care.

Qualifications

US Citizen

Degree or diploma from a professional nursing program approved by the legally designated State accrediting agency at the time the program was completed by the applicant.

Active, current registration as a professional nurse in a State, District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States.

All Health Care Providers must possess and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) Training and certification that is sponsored or endorsed by the American Heart Association (AHA). Current Advanced Life Support or other advanced certification does not supersede BLS completion.
