More about the role:
We are evolving as an organisation and have been actively growing our nurse cohort beyond breast, funding McGrath Cancer Care Nurses (MCCNs) who support people diagnosed with all types of cancer. As part of this evolution, we are looking to add to our existing highly skilled team with this impactful role - Nurse Clinical Lead (Melanoma and All Cancers).
You will be part of our Nursing Program function which is at the heart of McGrath Foundation’s purpose and what we do. You will play an integral part in the initial transition of Melanoma Nurses into the McGrath Foundation. This will involve supporting service mapping, the implementation of the McGrath Model of Care, including role development and mentoring of MCCNs who care of people with melanoma. Following this transition period, the role will evolve to support statewide McGrath Cancer Care Nurses who have expertise in providing care to other tumour streams.

This role presents an exciting opportunity for a cancer nursing specialist who is motivated and excited to play a key role in sharing their oncology nursing expertise and evolving the McGrath Model of Care as we take our care to all cancers. This role is a permanent part-time position, working 4 days per week (0.8 FTE). Working remotely is an option with the ability to travel locally/interstate as required.
