The single corporate service is delivered across both organisation. You may be based at either IWT or PHU and individuals may be required to undertake business travel between sites. An exciting and rewarding opportunity has arisen for a Nurse with significant experience of working with Children in Care, to join our caring and compassionate team who wants to make a real difference to the children and young people we work with.
You will be working collaboratively within the Children in Care team, supporting the Named Nurse and Specialist Children in Care professionals to ensure the organisation fulfils its statutory and contractual responsibilities for Children in Care.
This role offers a fantastic opportunity to be part of a trauma informed innovative team, become an expert nurse, use your clinical analysis skills autonomously, and be an evidenced-based practitioner. You will be working in partnership with safeguarding colleagues and multi-agency partners to improve the health and wellbeing of this vulnerable group.
It is desirable if you hold a Community/Specialist Practitioner: A Specialist Community Public Health Nurse (SCPHN) qualification (School Nursing or Health Visiting) or a Community Specialist Practitioner degree.
