The MH&ADS Clinical Resource Nurse performs skilled Mental Health and addictions services treatment / procedures / protocols required to stabilize and support those struggling with mental illness and mental health related concerns in conformance with standards established by the Saskatchewan Health Authority. The incumbent will be accountable for providing clinical education within the scope of their practice and policy development in patient care areas within outpatient and Acute Mental Health. The incumbent will provide a leadership role that encourages and maintains a high standard of “Best Practice” and ethical care that is followed by all members of the interdisciplinary team. The incumbent will collaborate with the Manger of Outpatient & Acute MH&ADS, Director of MH&ADS NW, other nurse managers, clinical nurse educators and staff nurses in developing orientation and specific departmental education/in-services.
