Salary or Pay Band: Pay Band Nurse B $42.040 to $52.440

Travel Required: No

Ensures provision of safe, comprehensive care, meeting client and staff needs through coordination and communication. Provides assistance with system navigation and the coordinator of patient flow.

Human Resources Exemption: No

Experience

  • Experience in advanced nursing support and for patients with Epilepsy
  • Five (5) years experience in Pediatrics
  • Experience in research, quality monitoring and evaluation

Education

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)

Memberships

  • Epilepsy Saskatoon

Other Education and Training

  • Current CPR Level C
  • Masters degree in related field is an asset

  • Develop and maintain knowledge of Vagal Nerve Stimulator (VNS) treatment
  • Demonstrated approaches to problem solving w/strong decision-making capability
  • Ability to work in a collaborative and consultative manner
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Demonstrated skill in teaching staff and patients
