Reporting to the Facility Manager, the Resident Care Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the highest standard of care and service is provided to residents within Saskatchewan Health Authority Rural Services facilities. As an experienced practitioner, the resident care coordinator acts in a leadership role to provide specialized clinical expertise, coordination of resident care, and support and teaching to the resident care team (including residents and residents' families) within a collaborative environment. The routine procedures are generally predetermined but critical thinking and independent judgment is an integral part of the position.
