Position Summary

As a Nurse Aide in Training, you will gain the knowledge and hands-on experience needed to become a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). You will work under the supervision of licensed staff while completing your training.

What You’ll Learn & Do

  • Participate in a state-approved CNA training program
  • Assist residents with basic care needs (grooming, hygiene, dressing)
  • Support meal service and hydration
  • Learn to monitor and report changes in resident condition
  • Practice infection control and safety procedures
  • Assist with mobility and resident comfort
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Attend all classes and complete required coursework

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Eligible for a state-approved CNA program
  • Interest in pursuing a career in healthcare or nursing
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Compassion for an underserved population
