Have you been thinking about a career in healthcare? West Village Post Acute has partnered with Impact CNA School to offer tuition-paid CNA training for motivated individuals who are ready to make a difference.

Through this 6-week CNA program, you'll receive the classroom instruction and hands-on training needed to become a Certified Nursing Assistant. Upon successful completion of the program and certification, you'll have the opportunity to join our team as a full-time CNA.

What We're Looking For

Successful CNA Trainees will have:

  • At least 18 years of age
  • Reliable transportation
  • Compassion for the senior population
  • A desire to build a career in healthcare
  • Previous caregiving experience preferred, but not required

Position Summary

The Nurse Aide in Training program is designed for individuals preparing to become Certified Nursing Assistants. Under the guidance of licensed nursing staff, trainees gain valuable hands-on experience while learning the skills necessary to provide exceptional care in a skilled nursing setting.

What You'll Do

  • Attend and successfully complete all CNA training classes and coursework
  • Assist residents with personal care and daily living activities under supervision
  • Learn proper infection prevention and safety procedures
  • Observe and report changes in resident conditions to licensed staff
  • Support residents with meals, hydration, mobility, and comfort
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment
  • Demonstrate compassion, professionalism, and respect in every interaction
  • Work alongside experienced caregivers to develop confidence and clinical skills

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Eligible for enrollment in a state-approved CNA training program
  • Interest in long-term care, nursing, or healthcare
  • Ability to follow instructions and work well as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
