Adjunct Instructor, Nurse Aide: The Nurse Aide Training Program is looking for an instructor for the 16-week section that meets M and W days class. The course runs from Jan 6, 2027 to May 10, 2027. Total hours are approximately 112 hours. This position would assist the lead RN instructor with the lab and clinical component of the course.
A successful applicant must be a current Registered Nurse with an unencumbered license to practice in North Carolina, with at least two years (4000 hours) of work experience as a registered nurse in the United States.
Minimum education requirement: Associate degree Nursing.
Other requirements:
Current CPR certification
Successful applicants must also meet at least one of the following requirements:
a. Completion of course in teaching adults;
b. Experience in teaching adults; or
c. Experience in supervising nurse aides.
