Salary or Pay Band: Pay Band Nurse A $38.580 to $50.070

Under the direction of the Manager of Nursing, the RN will be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care in the pre-operative unit, day surgery & post anaesthesia care unit.

Human Resources Exemption: No

Education

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)

Other Education and Training

  • Nursing diploma is acceptable
  • Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS)

Knowledge and Abilities

  • Desirable to possess a knowledge of the principles, methods and techniques
  • Knowledge of care in Pre-Operative Unit/Day Surgery/Post Anesthesia Care Units
