Status: Temporary, part-time (35 hours per week) - end date March 31, 2027
Schedule: Monday to Friday, daytime (hours may vary between 7:30 AM and 6:30 PM depending on operational needs)

The successful candidate will be part of a team of professionals in a GMF clinic. Working collaboratively with a team focused on access to care, their services aim to prevent illness and promote health. The clinical nurse works closely with family physicians and other professionals to ensure coordinated follow-up of patients.
To successfully carry out the responsibilities of this role, the candidate will demonstrate excellent clinical judgment, strong analytical skills, and a human-centered approach.

Assess physical and mental health conditions and determine urgency
Clinically monitor patients presenting risk factors
Initiate and perform diagnostic and therapeutic measures
Provide healthcare related to contraception and STIs
Apply collective prescriptions
Carry out and adjust medical treatments
Coordinate referrals to other resources
Promote health and educate patients
You have
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
Member of the OIIQ with the title of Nurse Clinician
Minimum of 2 years of relevant nursing experience
Excellent written and spoken French with functional spoken English
Basic computer skills required (Windows and G Suite)
Strong communication skills
Ability to work under pressure, manage priorities effectively, and execute tasks efficiently
Strong clinical judgment (critical and analytical thinking)
Attention to detail
Initiative and resourcefulness
Ability to work in a team
Reliability, autonomy, and punctuality
Assets
Experience in mental health and chronic illness
Intermediate knowledge of English is required because you will occasionally interact in English with external parties (clients, suppliers, candidates, external partners, etc.) as part of this position's main responsibilities given its provincial scope.
