Position Specific Description
NextEra Energy Nuclear is now hiring for a Senior Training Instructor to oversee and implement the Engineering training program at Duane Arnold Energy Center. The position will sit in our Corporate Nuclear Office in beautiful Jupiter, FL reporting to the Maintenance and Technical Training Supervisor, and is responsible for various duties that support the Systematic Approach to Training with analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation of the Engineering Accredited Training program. Other duties include tracking and scheduling of initial and continuing training, processing instructional and student records for QA record storage, and maintaining databases with exam grades and student record of completion (LMS).
Employees in this role provide instruction related to Engineering, Health Physics, Chemistry, Maintenance (Electrical, Mechanical, Instrumentation and Control, etc.) and other disciplines, functions and specialties. This job delivers required training courses that meet regulatory compliance obligations in the nuclear industry. Individuals participate in the identification of instructional gaps and improvements of specific training agendas in accordance with the applicable regulatory requirements.
