The Opportunity
We’re looking for a motivated engineer or scientist to join our team of physicists and engineers based at Sizewell B Power Station.
The team’s core responsibility is monitoring reactor performance, ensuring safe operation, maintaining the station safety case, compliance with the Nuclear Site Licence and management of the interface with regulatory bodies. You’ll ensure that legislation, company technical standards, technical specifications and management control processes are applied and followed.

Pay, benefits and culture
The starting salary for this appointment will be within the range of £47,513 to £84,595 and will be dependent on your existing salary, competence, experiences, and qualifications. The full salary range for this role is up to £99,929 with terms and conditions covered by the EDF Company Agreement.

The minimum qualification for this role is HNC (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering or scientific discipline and it may be advantageous if you hold a relevant degree.

To be appointed to this role, you will need to meet the criteria for Counter Terrorist Check (CTC) which will, ordinarily, require you to have British residency for the last 3 years.
