
St. Mary's Medical Center is seeking a full time Nuclear Medicine Tech The Primary purpose of the Nuclear Medicine Tech is to perform duties directly involved with a variety of technical procedures in the application of radionuclides for the diagnosis and treatment of disease in patients. Supervises technologist and ancillary personnel assigned. This position requires comprehensive understanding of related technology, independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative.
Qualifications
EDUCATION:
Bachelor degree preferred. Graduate of an approved JRCERT program for Radiologic Technology and/or Nuclear Medicine. Holder of a valid and current:
EXPERIENCE:
Previous work experience in clinical nuclear medicine desired.
SKILLS:
Uses a variety of radiation detection, measuring and recording devices and mechanical accessories. Uses a variety of radiation shielding materials and devices. Uses a variety of computers.
