Job Description

Nuclear energy is central to a cleaner, more reliable global grid — and the supply chain that supports it demands technology leadership equal to that challenge. As the Nuclear Global Supply Chain IT Leader at GE Vernova, you will set the digital direction for one of the most critical and complex operational environments in the energy industry. You will build and execute the technology roadmap that connects people, systems, and data across manufacturing, quality, sourcing, logistics, and environmental health and safety (EHS) — and you will lead the team making it happen.

This is a senior leadership role with real scope: cross-functional transformation, Manufacturing 4.0, artificial intelligence (AI)-enabled operations, and enterprise resource planning (ERP) modernization. If you want your work to shape how nuclear supply chains operate at scale, this is where that happens.

What You Will Do

  • Define and execute the IT strategy and digital transformation roadmap spanning EHS, manufacturing, quality, sourcing, and logistics — aligning technology investment to measurable business outcomes
  • Lead Manufacturing 4.0 initiatives, including cloud adoption, shop floor connectivity, data acquisition, and modern platform strategies
  • Drive data, AI, and machine learning programs — including machine vision and safety-focused solutions — and establish the data pipelines that power them
  • Lead application portfolio optimization and ERP/manufacturing execution system (MES) consolidation to reduce complexity, standardize operations, and lower cost
  • Manage program execution across multiple concurrent initiatives — owning budget planning, resolving dependencies, and tracking outcomes against defined targets
  • Communicate progress and outcomes to executive stakeholders, shaping priorities and building alignment across a complex, matrixed organization
  • Recruit, develop, coach, and manage the performance of your direct reports, building a team capable of delivering at the pace the business demands

Who You Are
You are a senior technology leader who has built and delivered large-scale digital transformation programs in complex, cross-functional environments. You bring together strategic thinking and operational discipline, equally comfortable presenting to executives and rolling up your sleeves to resolve a program dependency. You lead teams with clarity, invest in their development, and know how to drive results through people.

What You Bring

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience in a technology leadership role
  • 15+ years of IT leadership and program management experience, including large portfolio and financial oversight across cross-functional initiatives
  • Willingness and ability to travel domestically up to 20% of the time

Preferred

  • Demonstrated experience leading and influencing across a global, matrixed organization
  • Strong track record delivering large-scale, global technology programs with measurable business outcomes
  • Experience presenting to and influencing senior executive stakeholders
  • Knowledge of data protection, cybersecurity, and regulatory compliance requirements
  • Experience managing multi-million dollar budgets, including annual planning and large-scale project financials
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills with the ability to navigate ambiguity
  • A track record of building strong, customer-aligned relationships and delivering solutions with a clear customer focus
