This is the intermediate level of the administrative hierarchy. Employees at this level provide administrative support to work groups in the organization. At this level, the individual has developed knowledge and skills through formal training or considerable work experience. This level works within established procedures with a moderate degree of supervision and serves in a non-exempt capacity.
Associate's Degree
Strong computer skills
Demonstrated knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office suite applications, including Excel and PowerPoint.
Demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments.
Demonstrated ability to communicate (both written and oral) in a clear, concise and effective manner.
Proficient in Duke Energy Nuclear procedures and processes.
Ability to effectively interface with multiple across a department, e.g. managers, supervisors, employees
Experience working in a fast-paced, demanding environment with changing conditions.
Ability to gain and maintain Nuclear Access.
Experience with Nuclear Learning Management System (NLMS).
Experience with Nuclear Fusion & Nantel.
Performs work in normal office environment
May be required to provide assistance in multiple areas as needed.
Position located at Catawba Nuclear Station Training Center.
Prolong sitting at desk/computer.
May be required to travel for training and/or assistance at other sites and may be required to work overtime.
