About the role

Fixed term (18 months
with potential extension) | Part-time (0.4 FTE) | NSW Branch (Rozelle) on a
hybrid basis, or working remotely from home within NSW

We’ve received funding from NSW Health to help strengthen
rural psychiatry across NSW, and this role will play a key part in making that
happen.

As the NSW Rural Project Officer, you’ll support the Rural

of coordination, stakeholder engagement and hands-on delivery, with plenty of
scope to shape how things come together.

What you’ll be doing

  • Keep the project
moving by coordinating activities, tracking timelines and making sure key
    deliverables land on time
  • Support the Steering Committee and working groups with agendas, papers and
follow-ups so decisions translate into action
  • Build strong working relationships with stakeholders and keep communication
    clear, consistent and collaborative
  • Help turn priorities into practical action plans and support their delivery day
    to day
  • Track progress, risks and outcomes, and provide clear, useful updates to keep
    everyone aligned
  • Support data collection and use insights to inform decisions and improvements
  • Assist with maintaining simple, effective systems and processes that support
    project delivery
  • Help monitor the project budget and keep spend on track in partnership with
    your manager

What you'll bring

  • Relevant qualifications in education, healthcare,
research or a similar field, or equivalent experience
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to adapt your style for different
    audiences
  • Solid time management and the ability to juggle priorities in a fast-moving
    environment
  • A collaborative, team-first approach and a genuine interest in working with
    others
  • Confidence using digital tools like Microsoft Office and Teams
  • High attention to detail and care in your work
  • You’ll need to be based in NSW due to funding requirements
  • A mindset of learning, improving and being open to new ideas

(Position
description available on the RANZCP Careers page)

What’s in it for you

  • Up to $28,800 + super (0.4 FTE)
  • Salary packaging options
  • Hybrid and remote flexibility
  • A supportive, values-led team
  • Work that genuinely contributes to better mental health outcomes
