Position Type: Full-Time

Starting Wage: $29.40 per hour

Wage Increases: Year 2 - $30.30 | Year 3 - $31.20

Work Location: Hinckley, OH

This role is eligible to participate in ALDI’s Hybrid Work Program, which allows remote work up to 3 days per week (i.e., work remotely up to 3 days per week; work in-office at least 2 days per week)

Duties and Responsibilities:

Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation.

  • Handles administrative requests and queries from leadership.
  • Organizes calendar invites and schedules appointments for department and leadership as necessary.
  • Schedules and assists with meeting preparation, agenda and minutes creation and distribution and other coordination efforts.
  • Coordinates work assignments within the assigned team as well as across national services and international teams to ensure thorough and timely task completion.
  • Liaises with internal and external parties to gather and provide information across teams to facilitate informed decision making by the leader.
  • Ensures timely and efficient communication flows between areas of the business.
  • Ensures that team project implementation timeframes are kept up-to-date on the Store Operations Impact Calendar.
  • Makes recommendations to the direct leader regarding project or process improvements/changes, development opportunities for operational systems and solutions, and project demands.
  • Drafts responses to emails received in the team inbox for leadership to review and communicates on behalf of the team once responses are approved by leadership.
  • Submits and supports ServiceNOW tickets to troubleshoot, resolve access or technological issues.
  • Develops and maintains the team organization system.
  • Communicates and informs their direct leader of issues, status and results of assigned tasks and recommends corrective action, as appropriate.
  • Reads the weekly operations agendas each week to keep current on store operations information and process changes.
  • Crafts and submits communication, with direct leader approval, to the Communications Workflow.
  • Assists their direct leader in implementation and rollouts of team projects.
  • Organizes project documents, files and runs reports.
  • Schedules locations for team meetings and ensures rooms are equipped with the appropriate supplies, including food and beverages.
  • Processes requests and manages workload to meet deadlines.
  • Conducts training of knowledge and expertise within area of responsibility.
  • Collaborates with team members and communicates relevant information to direct leader.
  • Complies with ALDI privacy and security requirements and policies if job responsibilities

include possible access to confidential and/or sensitive information.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

  • Associate's Degree in Business or a related field required.
  • A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience required.
  • Or, a combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
  • Experience in retail, administration, or internal ALDI experience required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Work may be performed in an office, remote office or a combination of both where a computer and office equipment may be used as needed to perform duties.
  • Regularly required to sit, reach, grasp, stand and move from one area to another.
  • Constantly and repeatedly use keyboard/mouse.
  • Occasionally required to push, pull, bend, lift and move up to 25 lbs.

Travel:

  • Minimal travel required as needed for job related duties such as training, project work and administrative tasks.
