In partnership with Overwatch EMEA, our client is building the infrastructure for Europe's AI revolution, developing cutting-edge sovereign generative AI solutions powered by a new generation of high-performance, sustainable data centres and GPUs built specifically for AI workloads.
We are actively recruiting for an experienced BMS Project Manager to oversee the delivery of all Building Management System (BMS) and Building Automation System (BAS) packages across our client's hyperscale data centre projects. You will manage the technical execution of BMS systems from design coordination through installation, commissioning, integrated systems testing, and project handover.
This owner-side role requires extensive knowledge of mission-critical building automation systems used to monitor and control mechanical and electrical infrastructure. You will ensure BMS works are designed, installed, programmed, tested, and commissioned to meet our client's safety, operational, and quality standards while ensuring seamless integration with all building services and critical systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and oversee all BMS and building automation construction activities, ensuring systems are delivered in accordance with design intent, programme, and technical specifications.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, applicable industry standards, project specifications, and HSE requirements.
- Review and validate BMS design documentation, control philosophies, network architectures, points lists, software submittals, and technical documentation for compliance and constructability.
- Manage on-site coordination between BMS, Mechanical, Electrical, Controls, ICT, and CSA disciplines to ensure successful system integration.
- Monitor project progress, identify programme risks, and support recovery planning across all BMS delivery activities.
- Oversee quality assurance, inspections, functional testing, commissioning, and witness testing throughout installation and project delivery.
- Lead BMS commissioning activities, including integrated systems testing (IST), ensuring all building systems communicate effectively and perform in accordance with operational requirements.
- Coordinate with commissioning teams, contractors, consultants, vendors, and client stakeholders to resolve technical issues and achieve successful project handover.
- Promote a culture of safety, technical excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement across all project activities.
Qualifications

- Experience with leading BMS platforms such as Schneider Electric EcoStruxure, Siemens Desigo, Honeywell, Johnson Controls Metasys, Trend, or Delta Controls.
- Proven experience managing BMS commissioning, functional performance testing, and Integrated Systems Testing (IST).
- Strong understanding of communication protocols including BACnet, Modbus, KNX, and Ethernet/IP would be advantageous.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Familiar with project reporting, scheduling, and document management tools.
- Fluent in English; Norwegian would be advantageous.
