We’re looking for a hands-on Field Engineer to support the deployment and commissioning of advanced Air Traffic Management systems across domestic and international projects.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working on complex technical systems in the field, solving real-world problems, and collaborating with engineering teams and customers in mission-critical environments.

You’ll work on MLAT, ADS-B and WAM systems, combining RF expertise, networking knowledge, and Linux troubleshooting skills to bring high-performance systems online worldwide.

What you’ll do

Deploy and integrate mission-critical systems

You will lead on-site installation and integration activities, including:

  • RF cabling and antenna connections

  • Rack installation of servers and workstations

  • Setup of switches, routers, and networking equipmentù

Perform RF testing and troubleshooting

Use professional measurement tools to validate system performance and resolve technical issues:

  • Power Meters

  • Network Analyzers (VNA/SNA)

  • SWR meters

Configure networking and Linux systems

Work on distributed MLAT and ADS-B infrastructures by:

  • configuring IP networks, VLANs, routing and switching

  • troubleshooting connectivity and latency issues

  • analyzing Linux systems, logs, services and networking behavior

Lead commissioning activities on customer sites

Travel internationally to:

  • execute system commissioning

  • perform SAT (Site Acceptance Tests)

  • validate performance against international aviation standards and customer requirements

Be the technical reference on-site

Act as the main technical contact during:

  • FAT (Factory Acceptance Tests)
  • installation and commissioning
  • SAT activities
  • You’ll collaborate closely with Project Managers, R&D teams and customer stakeholders.

Support customers and end users

  • deliver technical training

  • provide remote and on-site support

  • help restore operations in mission-critical environments

What we’re looking for

Background

  • Technical Diploma or Degree in:
  • Information Technology
  • Electronics
  • Telecommunications
  • Experience

  • 1–5 years in technical field roles

  • Experience in telecommunications, networking, RF systems, or critical infrastructures is a plus

Technical skills

  • RF systems and measurements

  • IP networking and troubleshooting

  • Linux environments (RedHat/CentOS/Debian)

  • System diagnostics and technical problem solving

Soft skills

  • Autonomous and proactive mindset

  • Comfortable working on-site and traveling internationally

  • Strong communication and customer-facing attitude

  • Ability to operate under pressure in critical environments
