Essentia Health is seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our innovative General Surgery team in Fargo. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside experienced surgeons and APPs in a supportive environment focused on exceptional patient care, clinical excellence, and teamwork.
Our established team includes 5 General Surgeons and 3 Advanced Practice Providers who work collaboratively to deliver comprehensive surgical and specialty care across the lifespan.
POSITION HIGHLIGHTS:
The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant utilizes advanced clinical assessment, diagnostic reasoning, and decision-making skills to provide comprehensive patient care independently and in collaboration with physicians and interdisciplinary teams. This role emphasizes health promotion, disease prevention, and compassionate surgical care for patients across the lifespan.
Successful candidates will demonstrate strong clinical judgment, adaptability in a fast-paced environment, and exceptional interpersonal skills that foster positive relationships with patients, families, and colleagues.
