Primary Purpose of the Role

The NPI/Technical Transfer engineer will be responsible for ensuring the readiness of a duplicate production line. They will also be responsible for managing changes on the production line on an ongoing basis.

Major Accountabilities

Manufacturing activities

  • Work in compliance with ISO13485

  • Manufacturing readiness

  • Work with automation engineers to set up stations with required tools, equipment

  • Validation activities including, but not limited to, station validation, tool validations, gauge R&R

  • Documentation of activities

  • Being first point of contact for production staff to help resolve issues

  • Engineering change management for production, processes and equipment

Co-ordination activities:

  • Liasing with various business stakeholders to ensure expectations and timelines are met

  • Clear documentation and status reporting

Key Performance Indicators

  • Adherence to timelines

  • Clear communication and prompt escalation of any critical items

  • Ability to work cross functionally

Position Prerequisites

  • Education: Engineering or Technology qualifications

  • Experience: 0-3 years manufacturing experience.

  • Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment would be looked on favourably

  • Willingness to learn, ask questions, and collaborate in a multidisciplinary environment

  • Proactive and assertive attitude
