Material Readiness Ensure all components and raw materials are available, qualified, and meet specifications before production starts.
Supplier Coordination Work with Materials team to confirm delivery schedules, quality standards, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Risk Management Identify potential supply chain risks (delays, shortages, quality issues) and develop mitigation plans.
Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with engineering, supply chain, manufacturing, and quality teams to align material assurance with product design and production needs.
Continuous Improvement Monitor material performance during pilot runs and propose improvements for efficiency and reliability.
Education Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field. Experience 3–7 years in materials management, procurement, or quality assurance, . Skills Strong knowledge of ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) Understanding of NPI processes and product lifecycle management Supplier quality management and auditing experience Analytical and problem-solving skills
