The Knowledge Development Team Leader is responsible for leading a team of five Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and providing clear ownership and accountability over training development, delivery, and regional trainer qualification within HP Indigo Service.

The role focuses on translating product, service, and organizational needs into effective, scalable, and consistently executed training solutions, with a strong emphasis on New Product Introduction (NPI) readiness.
The Knowledge Development Team Leader ensures that SME expertise is utilized efficiently while maintaining alignment with the overall Knowledge Management strategy, standards, and priorities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define the knowledge and learning strategy for each NPI, ensuring timely readiness of operators, service engineers, and regional trainers.

  • Drive close collaboration with Product, R&D, Service, regional training teams, and other key stakeholders to ensure alignment, relevance, and adoption of training solutions.

  • Maintain alignment with Knowledge Management standards, methodologies, tools, and platforms, and continuously improve training processes based on feedback and lessons learned.

  • Track execution status and key metrics related to training readiness, quality, and coverage, and proactively identify risks, gaps, and mitigation actions.

Requirements

  • Strong people leadership and coordination skills, including the ability to lead professionals with deep subject matter expertise and enable them to perform effectively without acting as the technical expert.

  • Proven experience in project or program management, with the ability to plan, prioritize, and execute multiple parallel initiatives in a structured and disciplined manner.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage end to end execution, track progress, identify risks and dependencies, and drive initiatives to closure within time and resource constraints.

  • Experience working closely with cross functional stakeholders in a global, matrixed organization.

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to align diverse stakeholders and drive execution without formal authority.

  • Methodical, structured, and execution-oriented mindset, combined with flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and NPI timelines.

  • Experience in training, learning, knowledge management, or technical enablement – advantage.

  • Academic degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business, Operations, or a relevant field – advantage.

  • Familiarity with HP Indigo products and Service organization – strong advantage.

  • Fluent English (written and spoken) – mandatory.
