We are looking for an NPI Engineer for the R&D team The NPI Engineer will own the end-to-end transition of multidisciplinary medical devices from R&D prototypes to stable, scalable serial production, serving as the bridge between product development and Operations.

Key responsibilities:

· Lead the full NPI and design-transfer process from R&D handoff through pilot builds, qualification, production ramp-up, and stabilization.

· Build and drive transfer plans, schedules, risk and action tracking, production-readiness criteria, and release gates.

· Create and maintain the manufacturing package, including BOM/DMR content, drawings, work instructions, test methods, acceptance criteria, tooling, and training materials.

· Lead DFM, DFA, and DFT reviews and drive design and process improvements that support quality, manufacturability, serviceability, and cost.

· Define, develop, and qualify manufacturing processes, fixtures, equipment, and test setups; prepare and execute validation protocols where applicable.

· Lead ECOs and configuration changes, and provide hands-on support for production, yield, quality, field, and obsolescence issues using structured root-cause and corrective-action methods.

· Serve as the technical focal point across R&D, Operations, QA/RA, Supply Chain, Service, suppliers, subcontractors, and contract manufacturers.

Requirements

Requirements:

· B.Sc. in Mechanical, Electrical, Biomedical, Mechatronics, or a related engineering discipline.

· At least 3 years of experience in NPI, manufacturing engineering, product engineering, or design transfer for multidisciplinary products.

· Proven experience supporting pilot and serial production and developing or improving manufacturing processes.

· Experience with engineering documentation, BOM/DMR structures, ECO/CO processes, and PLM/PDM and ERP systems.

· Strong hands-on troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and structured problem-solving skills.

· Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation; SolidWorks experience is preferred.

· Fluent Hebrew and English, written and spoken; medical-device or other regulated-industry experience is an advantage.

Education & Experience - Relevant engineering degree and 3+ years of experience in multidisciplinary product industrialization.

Product & Business Acumen - Understands how design choices affect product quality, supply continuity, serviceability, cost, and time to market.

Execution & Leadership - Owns deliverables end to end, prioritizes effectively, and leads cross-functional actions without direct authority.

Communication & Collaboration - Builds strong working relationships and communicates status, risks, and decisions clearly across functions and sites.

Other Requirements - Comfortable working in a dynamic, global, matrix organization and providing hands-on support when needed.

Self-Starter & Problem-Solver - Proactive and resourceful; turns ambiguous technical issues into structured, evidence-based action plans.

Detail-Oriented & Analytical - Uses data, documentation discipline, and sound engineering judgment to ensure repeatable and compliant execution.

Technical Skills - Manufacturing documentation, DFM/DFA/DFT, ECO and configuration control, RCA, process validation, PLM/PDM/ERP, and CAD/SolidWorks.
