Reporting directly to the NPI Project Engineer, you as an NPI Engineer will support the execution of new product introduction (NPI) and value engineering (VAVE) projects to ensure successful implementation on time and within scope at the Matehuala facility.
You will assist in coordinating project activities, developing manufacturing processes, and supporting the setup of production systems, ensuring alignment with quality, cost, and delivery objectives. Additionally, you will contribute to prototype builds, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives within the engineering function.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project execution and ensure smooth transitions from development to production.
Support NPI Project Engineer in assigned project activities and follow-ups.
Participate in the development of manufacturing systems, assembly lines, and process methods.
Assist in creating process sheets, work instructions, and production standards.
Support prototype assembly, testing, and evaluation of new products.
Generate engineering sample requests and support validation activities.
Identify and recommend process improvements to meet quality, cost, and cycle time targets.
Develop documentation to support manufacturing processes and product builds.
Support training activities for operators and production personnel.
Participate in audits, meetings, and training sessions as required.
Apply quality, environmental, health, and safety policies in daily activities.
