We are looking for a Senior Project Manager (with the title of NPI eLumina System Senior Program Manager) to lead the development and delivery of our HVDC Control & Protection System within the New Product Introduction (NPI) organization of the HVDC Solution Line.
Based in Stafford, you will drive the end-to-end execution of this strategic program, from requirements definition through design, validation, and industrialization, ensuring alignment with technical, cost, quality, and schedule objectives.
You will work within the global NPI team and collaborate closely with engineering, product management, procurement, projects. Reporting to the HVDC NPI Executive Leader, you will play a pivotal role in delivering the state-of-the-art Control & Protection System for both LCC and VSC converter stations.
The eLumina Program is key to our portfolio of projects: TenneT, EGL1 and EP.
To optimize both NPI and projects execution, the eLumina product validation strategy is a blend of NPI and Project Teams, as well as the simultaneous use of hardware platforms.
Stakes of this program are high, with a FAT of the LCC version of eLumina for EP project and the VSC version of eLumina for TenneT and EGL1 as the following chart and timeline illustrate.

Desired Profile and Experience:
Engineering degree: Bachelor’s degree in electrical or electronics engineering. Master’s or PhD with a focus on power systems, power electronics highly preferred.
Extensive HVDC experience, with sound knowledge of HVDC control systems.
Experience to lead and motivate large, cross-functional teams. This includes setting a clear vision, delegating effectively, and holding teams accountable for results.
Proven track record of leading and successfully delivering NPI programs.
Proficient in applying Agile principles to drive product development and accelerate time-to-market.
Proven experience as a Program Director, Project Director, or Project Engineering Director in NPI or EPC environments.
Strong sense of urgency and ability to identify and manage technical
Strong program management skills, including planning, scheduling, cost control, and stakeholder management.
Knowledge of Lean and its application in an Engineering environment. Facilitating improvement workshops.
Able to work to deadlines under challenging situations whilst maintaining the safety, quality and engineering integrity of the solutions.
Excellent communication and leadership skills: able to align teams, influence stakeholders, and represent the program with confidence in internal and external forums.
