The NPI Buyer shall procure raw materials and components at a cost effective price and carry minimum of inventory as possible

In this role, the NPI Buyer will:

• Protect of increases of price and identify alternatives of supplying
• Sourcing and Negotiation with raw materials suppliers using Blanket Purchase Orders to firm up delivery agreements
• Expedites material shortages required to attain the production schedule
• Maintain inventory levels according to business objectives
• Implements cost saving projects thru supplier partership, resourcing or re-design
• Resolves quality issues with suppliers in a timely fashion
• Implements supplier management tools seeking continous improvement in quality, delivery and service
• Complies with activities assigned by his supervisor
• Implements VMI
• Selecting new supplies according with the procedures
• To work according of the I.M.S. (Integrated Management System) which includes ISO 9K, 18K, 14K, 27K, and 22301

Required Skills:

• Bilingual English (100%)
• ERP System knowledge (SAP Desired)
• Inventory control experience
• Supplier Forecast knowledge
• Kanban system knowledge
• Experience in expediting materials (Overseas)
• APICS Certification (desire)
• Time Availability
• Logistic Knowledge
• Savings and cost reduction experience
• Used to work under pressure
• Excellent communication skills

Required Experience:

• Professional Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Industrial Engineering or Mechanic Engineering
• 3 years of experience in purchasing in Manufacturing environment
