We are looking for a talented NP-PA for our General/Specialty Surgery team.

Hours: Part-time – 24 hours.

Shift: Day/evening shift – weekend, holiday rotation.

(2) 12-hour shifts per week with the occasional night shift (1900-0700) as needed for coverage. This is also weekend coverage as needed (typically one weekend every 5th week) and one holiday per year.

Location: Charlton Memorial Hospital, Fall River, MA

Responsibilities

• Under direction of individually assigned Physician(s), or Designee, perform a wide variety of patient care and related duties both within and in support of Southcoast Physicians Group including assisting in the OR for Colorectal, Breast, Surgical Oncology and general surgery procedures other than cardiac surgery.
• Perform in-patient rounding, surgical assist and emergency room general surgery first response.

Qualifications

• Physician Assistant: Bachelors Degree in a related field is required. Graduate of an A.M.A.-approved Physician Assistant program is required. Certification from a National accrediting body to practice as a Physician Assistant is required.
• Nurse Practitioner: Masters of Science Degree in Nursing is required. Certification from a National accrediting body to practice as a Nurse Practitioner is required.
• Current Massachusetts R.N. registration is required. Nurse Practitioner Certificate/Physician Assistant Certificate is required.
• Over 3 months experience.
• NP - Massachusetts Nursing License authorization to practice in an expanded role.
• PA Physician Assistant License authorization to practice.
• CME requirements as needed.

Pay Range

USD $65.20 - USD $84.74 /Hr.

Rotation Schedule Requirement

weekend rotation as needed- one holiday per year.
