Job Description

We’re looking for a Novice QA Engineer to join our growing DataForce QA team!

If you’re passionate about software quality, eager to learn automation, and want to work with modern tools and real products — this is the place to start.

You’ll work closely with experienced QA engineers and developers on testing web, mobile, and desktop applications, building your skills in Java and Python-based test automation (Selenium, Appium, REST), and learning best practices for API testing, defect tracking, and Agile collaboration.

What you’ll do:

• Test web, mobile, and desktop apps manually and through automation scripts

• Learn and contribute to automation frameworks using Java, Python, Selenium, Appium, and Playwright

• Perform API validation using Postman and the REST API Spring Boot

• Log and track issues in JIRA and collaborate with developers on fixes

• Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and QA syncs

Requirements

What we’re looking for:

• Basic understanding of testing principles and SDLC

• Working knowledge of Java and OOP

• Proficient in using Selenium for test automation

• Familiarity with Git and version control

• Eagerness to learn automation and QA tools

• Attention to detail, curiosity, and a strong teamwork mindset

Nice to have:

• API testing experience (Postman)

• Exposure to Bitbucket or CI/CD pipelines

• Knowledge of test management tools (TestRail, Testiny)
